Gong Bath at Namaste Yoga Circle 4th May 2016

Wednesday 4th May 2016 6.30-8.30pm

I am delighted to welcome the beautiful Elita to our Ettalong Yoga Circle (Wadhayi Centre, Cnr of Karingi and Broken Bay Rd, Ettalong). Elita is a certified healing and sound practitioner who will share with us the symphonic gongs and Tibetan bowl, both sacred and ancient instruments of healing, rejuvenation and transformation.
The benefits of a sound bath are immense.A gong bath is a sound healing experience, effecting a positive and lasting change in the mind and physical body .After a session you feel peaceful, relaxed and rejuvenated and escape from the busy world we live in. As a sound healing experience, the gong bath is energy medicine.
We will begin our session with some nurturing yoga preparing body and mind for the gong bath. What follows is deeply relaxing and restorative on many levels. Sound has been known to allow you to journey to a place of deep relaxation, allowing energy to flow through your body, removing aches, pains, anxiety and stress.
Multiple tones and clusters of overtones build as the gong is played, eventually creating a plasma of total sound. On a physical level, the gong releases tension and blocks in the body, it stimulates a higher functioning of the glandular and nervous system, it increases prana, our vital life force and improves circulation. The gong also works deeply on the mental, emotional and spiritual bodies. The gong purifies and quietens the mind to a state of stillness where innate wisdom can be accessed. Another benefit that comes from the mind stilling, is repair at the DNA and cellular level allowing deep healing to take place.
It is a time to stop and let yourself be deeply nourished!
A truly blissful experience opportunity and all that is required is an open mind and heart (and yoga mat if you have one!).
Your investment for this 2 hour healing session is $22. (If you have paid for yoga by the term, it is just $7).
Bookings appreciated with Nicole 0404842601 or nurtureworks@netspace.net.au
Elita and I look forward to sharing this special evening with you,

Term One is almost finished at the 3 Yoga Circles
Last class is Thurs 7 April
Lots of progress was made this term with Surya Namaskar, our Warrior sequence and balance practices. These beautiful practices have easy modifications so that all levels can develop a practice that nurtures and strengthens the body and mind.
We also had an amazing turn out for another successful Sound Healing with Ian Hakker on 16th March.
If you missed this session with Ian don’t worry we have another planned for May (date TBA).
A gong and crystal bowl healing session is also in the planning so stay tuned for more Namaste Yoga Circle experiences.
